UFA call to action

SEF guides

SEF - Self Evaluation Form

The purpose of these SEF guides, created by the UFA is to enable schools to look at the Study Support activity they are currently providing and think about how it contributes to ECM and key evidencing frameworks that their school might be using/considering using. It will also enable schools to identify gaps and describe the benefits and impact on young people, the school and the community.

Evidencing your success enables you to:

  • Analyse the quality and range of study support provided and identify any gaps
  • Maximise the opportunity for learning for your young people
  • Attract funding
  • Promote your activity in the school and the wider community

Evidencing your success can contribute to QISS portfolios, SEF documents, OfSTED and demonstrates how your Study Support contributes to Every Child Matters.

Whether you are completing a SEF or providing evidence to a Senior Manager/Headteacher this framework will enable you to show how Study Support underpins young people's achievements.
