Cardiff - Young Researchers and Evaluators

Nearly 60 young people were trained as Young Researchers and Evaluators earlier last year in Cardiff and they all undertook research projects in their schools. These ranged from investigating the usage of the library to finding out what made learning more interesting in lessons.

Cardiff Young Researchers and Evaluators

These young people were excellently supported by staff at the schools and many of them have continued in their role and started on further research and evaluation projects. A follow up visit to the schools in October identified a desire for some of the young people to become Peer Trainers so that the project could be more sustainable.

29 students will be trained on 23rd & 24th January so watch this space to see how they get on!

Two new cohorts of Young Researchers and Evaluators will also be trained in the coming months – these will represent even more schools in the Cardiff area.
